Jihan Ghanim joined the Center for Middle East Peace & Economic Cooperation in the summer of 2002. She has spent most of her college years in Egypt attending the American University in Cairo. During her stay in Egypt, Ms. Ghanim studied Arabic at the Arabic Language Institute and conducted research for the UNESCO branch in Cairo. She also worked with a prominent political party in Egypt, working for their weekly newspaper.
Ms. Ghanim received her BA in Political Science at Temple University in Philadelphia and is currently working on her MA in Statecraft and World Politics at the Institute of World Politics in Washington D.C.
